Course Description :: |
This is a 1 day course. There will be a short introduction followed by practical sessions in preparation and assessment.One to one training will be given using teaching microscopes.The cost of this course is £220.Lunches, teas and coffees can be purchased from the staff restuarant. |

Course Objectives :: |
On completion of this course participants should be able to prepare samples of oilseed rape for tetrazolium assessment and be able to categorise the stained embryo into viable and non-viable categories. We must stress that this is an introductory course and trainees will need to gain considerable experience in their own laboratories before becoming fully competent in this test. |

Course Pre-Rquisites :: |
It would be an advantage if course participants have some expertise in germination testing of oilseed rape and the stucture of the seed. |
