Campaign against the illegal poisoning of animals
A government led campaign aimed at protecting some of the rarest birds of prey and wildlife, and safeguarding domestic animals established in 1991. Members of the public can report suspicions of illegal poisoning (abuse of pesticides) on a free phone number (0800 321 600). In Scotland this number is linked to the SASA laboratory during working hours, and out of hours messages can be recorded.
