Biography
- 2016 head of Pesticide Survey Unit
- Joined SASA in 2006 as a Pesticides Adviser, managing the Pesticide Survey Team and providing advice on agricultural pesticide use and approval to a range of stakeholders.
- 2004-2006 Study Coordinator, managing European pesticide residue and efficacy studies, Charles River Laboratories, UK
- 2001-2004 Study Director, conducting ecotoxicology studies to assess the impact of pesticides on non-target arthropods, Charles River Laboratories, UK
- 1999-2001 Post-doctoral Researcher, studying flight dynamics of lepidopteran orchard pests. Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) Zurich
- 1998-1999 Entomologist, conducting insecticide efficacy trials, Charles River Laboratories, UK
- 1997 PhD in Entomology - "Investigation of the potential range and colonisation ability of selected insect pests of oilseed rape". University of Edinburgh & Scottish Agricultural College
